bringing the outside in?

Somehow, I don't think that this is what was meant when the phrase was coined.

A closer view:

Dear Rogue Weed,

We don't know how long you had been in our garage before we noticed you. Since our washer and dryer also reside in said garage, I'm in there almost every day. We...just...were totally oblivious, I guess.

Weed, thank you for bringing to light my apparently lacking skills at keeping our side yard at bay. I'm sorry for the guilt you must carry as the one who triggered the ensuing mass casualty event in the side flower bed. It was executed in the most humane of ways. Your fellow weeds felt no pain.

I admire your persistence, your tenacity, and your stealth.

And I know you'll be back.

On the lookout,
