Today I got to watch a baby come into the world. My sweet niece was delivered at 2:25 this afternoon. First seen as an egg in a petri dish, she was very long awaited, prayed, and hoped for. And now, she's here.

While in one sense, there are a thousand things to say, in another, I'm almost struck silent at witnessing the literal moment that the pains and strain of pregnancy and labor built up to the reveal of a new little person taking her first breath. Incredible, and so, so full of joy.

Sometimes things just need not much explanation. So with that, I'm basking in the moment of the miracle, and I'll leave it at that.
